Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed with Want Want Group in Beijing

The 25th Beijing-Taiwan Science & Technology Forum was held in Beijing and Taipei online and offline from September 19 to 20. With the theme of "Finding New Ways for Realizing New Development and Sharing New Achievements", the Forum focused on technological innovation, economy for carbon peaking and neutrality goals, and financial services to promote the implementation of cross-strait cooperation projects and further deepen bilateral economic cooperation. As an important special event of the Forum, the 2022 Beijing-Taiwan Financial Cooperation Forum was held on September 19, which was supported by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Local Financial Regulation and Supervision, and sponsored by Financial Industry Cooperation Promotion Group of Cross-Strait CEO Summit, Want Want Group and Beijing Financial Development Services Co., Ltd.. 

Signatory representatives: Wang Gengyu, CEO of China Soft Capital, Lin Tianliang, Chief Delegate of Want Want Group in Beijing and Executive Vice President of The Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland (ATIEM).

 

China Soft Capital signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Want Want Group during the event.There is a good foundation for Beijing-Taiwan financial cooperation. With the investment from Beijing Financial Holdings Group, Guiding Fund (Dongcheng District) and Want Want Group.and under the joint management by China Soft Capital and Jincai Fund Management Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Financial Holdings Group, Beijing Wenjing Cultural Industry Investment Fund is formally established this year as a good demonstration of bilateral cultural and financial cooperation. The strategic cooperation agreement will be a further development of all-round, multi-field and deep-level cooperation in cultural and technological projects. With Wenjing Cultural Industry Investment Fund as a good cooperation foundation, China Soft Capital will build a "Beijing-Taiwan Cultural and Financial Investment Platform" jointly with Want Want Group and other resources to support cross-strait cultural, technological and financial exchanges and cooperation.

 

It is 25 years since the establishment of the Forum in 1998. During such period, it is not only an important platform for cross-strait economic and trade exchanges, but also adheres to the concept of "People on Both Sides of the Taiwan Strait as One Family", expanding more cooperation space for more enterprises in both markets, and providing sufficient support for achieving high-quality, innovative and mutually beneficial development.
