On December 10 2016, “2016 Chinese PE/VC Industry Award Ceremony” was held in Beijing by China Association of Private Equity, Beijing Private Equity Association, Caixin Media, and Caixin Think Tank. CSC Chairman – Wang Guangyu received the award for “2016 Chinese Private Equity Investment Industry’s Outstanding Young Investor,” and CSC SVP – Hao Yajing received the honor of “2016 Beijing Private Equity Association’s Distinguished Outstanding Lecturer.” In 2016, CSC made numerous investments in sectors of focus such as the new generation of IT, green technology, and advanced manufacturing. In venture capital, CSC invested in the leading VR company – ANTVR, and the domestic leader in flat panel display chip R&D and design – Chipone. In private equity, CSC invested heavily in the New Third Board-listed payment company – Huiyuan Technology, and the leader in engineering cost consultation – Gongzhengxinye. Recently, CSC acquired shares of China High-Speed Railway as a strategic move in the smart railway transport sector.
